WW: The media have contributed to the shaping of narratives around the Corona Virus pandemic including through commentary and analysis. This editorial cartoon illustrates the response between Kenya government rhetoric and sometime-brutal activities committed against citizens in the name of containing the Corona Virus pandemic. The commentary also brings the question of press freedom to the fore as it raises questions as to how far will the government go in containing portrayals that it is not comfortable with.
