Aurelia Munene: I got this artifact from the Elephant Publication which is feedback from a recent webinar held among non live in domestic workers "Mama fua". I moderated the webinar which was organised by Centre for Livelihood Advancement and Kenya National Human Rights Commission. These category of domestic workers ( over 500 of them have been registered in Nairobi), have faced multiple vulnerabilities and marginalisation associated with the pandemic. There is limited work, police abuse and limited social protection options for them. Following the webinar, state and non state organizations will pool resources together and address their needs.
